Seeking Intermediate to Advanced Piano Students for Masterclass

By popular demand (since last year’s event was so well received), the Mu Phi Alpha Kappas’ will once again be holding a Masterclass in conjunction with their RUSH event on Saturday, April 11 from 1-3 pm in Grant Hall Room 122 (choir room). Do you have any intermediate to advanced piano students who might be interested in playing for this? The masterclass is offered for FREE and will be mostly taught by graduate students. This is a wonderful opportunity for your student to receive some coaching and gain new insight into their repertoire free of charge! There will also be FREE PIZZAS for the students, any potential new Mu Phi members, and all attendees after the event! Music Sale
The Mu Phi Alpha Kappas collegiates will be holding a music sale on April 7th to raise funds for their chapter. They are seeking any music donations from alumni members (or any patrons who might like to contribute too) to help their cause. Do you have any unused music laying around? How about some music text books that you no longer need? Now’s the time to cull through your music library and pull those items that you would like to give away. The deadline for donating will be Mar. 22nd so that the AKs may have time to sort through and price the items. Donations can be collected in any of the following fashion:
- Drop it off at Linda Chen’s house (8101 W. 129th St., Overland Park, KS 66213)
- Schedule a pickup time with AK president, Regina Tanujaya, for large donations that may be too heavy to transport. You can contact Regina at tanujaya@gmail.com
