I am proud to present the 2019 Bach Festival & Competition, held in the beautiful Shari Flaming Center for the Arts at Tabor College on March 22-23. I invite you and your students to be a part of this fabulous celebration of Bach’s life and works.

The 2019 Bach Festival & Competition includes competition and CASH PRIZES for all ages, as well as the opportunity to perform for comments only. Performers prepare a solo keyboard work of Bach. Divisions and cash prizes are
Elementary Division (up to age 9): $50 First Prize
Junior Division (10-13): $75 First Prize
Senior Division (14-18): $100 First Prize
Young Artist Division (19-21): $125 First Prize
Organ Division (no age restriction): $125 First Prize
Special Scholarship Winner: $20,000 scholarship to top high school senior
SESSIONS / MASTERCLASS / RECITAL: Other festival activities include sessions on the Goldberg Variations, Dancing the Bach Suites, and other topics by area professionals, as well as the opportunity to perform in a masterclass and attend a recital of an international keyboard artist.
SUPPORTER PRIZES: Teachers, family, and friends may attend all festival activities for free and be eligible to receive door prizes, such as Bose headphones, Apple watches, Visa gift cards, and special Bach-related prizes.
