Cello for a good cause

Hello Fellow KCMTA Members,

I wanted to invite you and your students to a double cello recital I am performing with my sister Bethany Bobbs and friend Lisa Nelson. I, Emma Hoeft, am currently a substitute cellist for the Kansas City, Houston, and Jacksonville Symphonies. Bethany is an incredible cellist who currently attends the Juilliard Pre-College Program during the school year and the Perlman Music Program during the summer.

This recital is to raise support for Team World Vision, an organization that provides clean water solutions to communities in Africa. For the last three years, I have run in local races to raise funds for Team World Vision. However, with a baby boy on the way this September, I can’t run, but I can play cello… so the idea of a double cello recital with my sister was born!

The recital is approximately one hour long. Please see the flyer below for details:

If neither of the full recitals work for your schedule or you are looking for a shorter recital better suited for young children, please consider attending the preview recital on Thursday, June 7th at 6:30pm at the Riverstone Retirement Community located at 9000 N Congress Ave, Kansas City, MO 64153.

Feel free to invite as many people as you would like! Looking forward to seeing you there!
